Building supervision of a fast commuter vessel

Transportutvikling AS is commissioned by Troms and Finnmark County Council, in order to carry out building supervision of a new fast combined commuter vessel, to be built by Brødrene Aa AS in Hyen and delivered medio June 2021. The mission also includes marine technical consulting, hereunder technical-, operational- and commercial assistance.

Transportutvikling AS is to ensure that:

• The shipyard adheres to the required specifications and the construction contract
• Contractual conditions in general are fulfilled
• The construction is supervised properly
• The Owner’s interests are secured when the vessel is delivered
• Contractual instalments made by Owners to the Yard is as agreed upon, and that the vessel’s guarantee documents are in order, and that any additional work/equipment is carried out and delivered as agreed
• Any other contractual guarantee documents and certificates are satisfactory
• Statutory orders and regulations by The Norwegian Maritime Authority and other relevant authorities are adhered to
